I have worked in various settings within the private sector, NHS and voluntary sector.
My experience of working with clients encompasses a wide range of issues with clients from all walks of life, including different nationalities, ethnicities, religions and sexual orientations.
My qualifications include:
BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc Counselling Psychology (accredited by the British Psychological Society) and a Certificate in Humanistic Integrative Counselling (accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Certificate of Proficiency.
I have also attended numerous courses in specialist areas, including: Anxiety, Cognitive Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Depression, Health Anxiety, Mindfulness, Nutrition and Mental Health, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Personality Disorders, Schema Therapy and Social Anxiety.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and am registered on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I am an individual member of the following professional bodies and abide by their codes of ethics and am bound by their complaints procedures: the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychological Society (BPS) including its Division of Counselling Psychology.
A consultation is £80 (daytime) or £85 (evening) for individuals, and £100 (daytime) or £105 (evening) for couples. A session lasts for 50 minutes.
Payment for sessions can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer. I am unable to accept payments by credit or debit card, except for initial consultations.
